Personal Injury Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Trial Attorney to represent clients in personal injury cases. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, professional environment while advocating for injured individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation and courtroom experience. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office each week with flexibility to work remotely on certain days.

Location:

• Baltimore, MD

Duties:

• Draft and submit legal documents related to litigation, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
• Represent clients in trials held in District and Circuit Courts across Maryland and Washington, D.C.
• Maintain open communication with clients and provide clear guidance throughout legal proceedings
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Maryland Personal Injury law to manage cases effectively
• Manage a substantial caseload and demonstrate leadership skills in case management
• Develop litigation strategies and oversee the discovery process to support case development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney, specifically in Maryland
• At least 2 years of trial courtroom experience
• Passion for courtroom work and advocacy for clients
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to client interactions
• Commitment to achieving the best results for clients
• Ability to work a 40-hour week, with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 1-2 days hybrid

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Maryland

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial experience in personal injury law
