A law firm based in Denver, CO, is seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading due diligence teams, managing specialists, and drafting transaction documents. This role requires superior writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and the ability to handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead due diligence teams and manage specialists in complex M&A transactions.
  • Draft and review transaction documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and other related legal documents.
  • Provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, and corporate governance matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactional activities.
  • Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Manage and oversee multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate law, including relevant regulations and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in corporate law, with specific expertise in mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, and corporate governance.
  • Proven experience leading due diligence efforts and managing teams of legal specialists.
  • Strong track record of drafting and reviewing transaction documents.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Superior academic achievements, including a strong law school background.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in Colorado.

Skills:
