A law firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team in Camp Hill, PA. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills and will handle a range of workers' compensation cases. The role involves file review, legal analysis, client representation, and trial preparation. Duties:

  • Conduct thorough file reviews and legal analysis of workers’ compensation claims.
  • Perform extensive legal research and draft client correspondence, discovery devices, case summaries, appeals, and appellate briefs.
  • Represent clients regularly at depositions and hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board.
  • Prepare for and attend trials, managing trial preparation and related activities.
  • Retain and evaluate expert witnesses as needed.
  • Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania; admission to other states is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
