This role involves representing clients in disability hearings, preparing and filing appeals, reviewing medical records, and negotiating with the Social Security Administration to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients at disability hearings before Administrative Law Judges.
  • Prepare and file appeals for clients whose initial claims have been denied.
  • Review medical records and assess the strength of clients' disability claims based on current social security disability rules and regulations.
  • Negotiate with Social Security Administration representatives to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar and in good standing (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer software tools.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Social Security Disability Attorney is preferred.
  • Client-focused mindset with a passion for expanding legal skills and expertise.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Nevada State Bar (preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of social security disability rules and regulations.
