Litigation Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Litigation Counsel with a minimum of 6 years of experience to support senior attorneys in various aspects of litigation. The ideal candidate should be able to manage a substantial caseload and must be admitted to the NY Bar, with preference given to those also admitted to the SDNY and EDNY.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive support to senior attorneys in all facets of litigation.
• Manage and oversee a significant caseload, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist in case preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information and evidence.
• Attend court proceedings, hearings, and depositions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of Litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory.
• Preferred admission to the Southern District of New York (SDNY) and Eastern District of New York (EDNY).
• Proven ability to handle a large caseload efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar Association.
