Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is currently seeking an experienced securities lawyer with 6+ years of expertise in managing structured securities offerings for its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in commercial real estate law, specifically focusing on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The role involves representing various public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and the development of commercial real estate. This position offers flexibility with multiple U.S. office locations.

Location:

  • Miami, FL

Duties:

  • Manage structured securities offerings and advise clients on related transactions, such as acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
  • Represent clients in commercial real estate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents associated with real estate transactions.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on complex real estate finance and securities issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage high-profile investment transactions.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of legal services and client deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong background in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Experience at a large law firm, ideally within an AmLaw 100 firm, is preferred.
  • Ability to handle complex transactions and work independently or as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is based.
