Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Pharmacy Associate Attorney will work on matters involving pharmacy regulation and compliance, including online pharmacies and related telehealth matters, pharmacy/wholesaler/manufacturer licensing, DEA and controlled substances, drug distribution and supply chain issues, drug compounding, and pharmacy benefits and reimbursement.

Duties:

  • Research and analyze legal issues related to pharmacy law and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, regulatory proceedings, and litigation matters.
  • Guide pharmacy licensing, changes of ownership, and de novo licensure.
  • Monitor developments in pharmacy law and regulations and provide updates to clients and firm attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in pharmacy law, preferably as a pharmacist attorney or an attorney with experience in pharmacy-related matters.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Minnesota State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
  • Strong academic credentials with a focus on healthcare law or pharmacy regulation.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent client service.

Education & Certifications:
