A law firm seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their Energy & Infrastructure Group in New York City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements and ancillary documents and performing due diligence for renewable energy and infrastructure transactions. This role involves working with a diverse clientele, including lenders, developers, sponsors, and equity investors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements and ancillary documents related to renewable energy and infrastructure transactions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and legal research to support various transactions.
  • Advise clients, including lenders, developers, sponsors, and equity investors, on project development and finance documentation.
  • Structure and implement corporate transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and execute project management strategies to organize outstanding items and manage workflows.
  • Apply legal analysis to identify potential issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to support transaction goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or foreign equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Experience in advising on project development and project finance documentation.
  • Proven ability to draft and prepare corporate legal transactional documents.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structuring and implementing corporate transactions.
  • Experience with project management strategies and managing workflows.
  • Strong legal research skills and the ability to apply legal analysis effectively.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

Skills:
