Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Handle products liability litigation cases, including drafting legal briefs, correspondence, and responses to discovery.
  • Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews.
  • Manage document collection, review, and production.
  • Perform causation and failure analysis in product liability cases.
  • Assist in managing multidistrict litigation (MDL) and coordinated state proceedings.
  • Provide strategic input and collaborate with senior attorneys on case development and client management.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates and discussing case strategies.
  • Work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in products liability litigation.
  • Familiarity with handling complex commercial litigation and product defect cases.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and conducting depositions.
  • Knowledge of causation and failure analysis is highly preferred.
  • Experience in multidistrict litigation (MDL) or coordinated state proceedings is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent case management and organizational abilities.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in California.
