Duties:

• Assist clients with breach response and preparedness efforts.
• Support compliance initiatives concerning existing and emerging privacy law frameworks both within the United States and internationally.
• Handle regulatory investigations related to privacy and cybersecurity issues.
• Provide legal counsel on privacy and data protection, working across various industries.
• Draft legal documents, including reports, memoranda, and client communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of privacy laws and cybersecurity trends to offer strategic legal advice.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of legal experience (Class of 2022 or 2021).
• Proven experience in handling privacy and cybersecurity matters.
• Familiarity with breach response, privacy law frameworks, and regulatory investigations.
• Strong academic background and legal analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong interest in the fields of privacy and cybersecurity law.
• New York Bar membership is preferred but must be obtained within one year of joining the firm.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership in the New York State Bar is preferred.
