A law firm in Johnson City is seeking an Associate Attorney to represent clients in various legal matters. The candidate will manage a caseload with minimal supervision, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and engage in negotiation efforts. Additionally, they will participate in business development initiatives and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in various legal matters
  • Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management
  • Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

 

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with a State Bar association
  • 2+ years of experience practicing law
