Job Overview: A reputable law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation/Insurance Defense Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in insurance defense and a demonstrated ability to handle a variety of litigation matters. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation, focusing on insurance defense cases.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including attending court hearings, arbitrations, and mediation.
• Conduct depositions and draft discovery and contractual agreements.
• Prepare and respond to law and motion matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved.
• Optionally, participate in trial proceedings depending on experience and case requirements.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong courtroom and arbitration experience.
• Proficient in taking and defending depositions.
• Demonstrated ability to draft discovery, motions, and legal agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
