A law firm seeks an experienced Corporate Associate Attorney to join its team in Ronkonkoma, NY. Duties

  • Draft and negotiate a variety of business agreements, including asset and stock purchase agreements, license agreements, partnership agreements, supply agreements, employment contracts, and joint venture agreements.

  • Advise clients on various corporate matters impacting their business operations and legal strategies.
  • Engage directly with clients to provide legal advice and assist with business structuring and compliance matters.
  • Research and analyze legal issues in corporate law, offering innovative and effective solutions.
  • Manage multiple high-value transactions simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A, commercial leasing, and business transactions.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle complex corporate transactions and provide sound legal advice.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
