Duties:

• Handle all phases of personal injury litigation, from inception through resolution

• Draft and respond to complaints, discovery requests, and various pre-trial motions

• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda with strategic recommendations

• Participate in motion hearings, including motions to strike, compel, dismiss, or amend

• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and ensure procedural efficiency

• Engage in trial preparation activities and support lead trial attorneys

• Maintain comprehensive case documentation, records, and internal reporting

• Consult directly with clients to communicate strategies and legal options at critical stages

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, specifically within personal injury law

• Proficiency in motion practice and legal writing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Experience handling depositions, drafting legal briefs, and summarizing third-party records

• Prior exposure to trial preparation is highly valued

• In-depth understanding of California litigation rules, procedures, and court systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet project deliverables

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
