Duties:

  • Provide patent prosecution services in the areas of 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, wireless technologies, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front end.
  • Draft and file patent applications, manage patent portfolios and assist clients with strategic IP decisions.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and manage their intellectual property portfolios.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and provide insights on technological developments.
  • Participate in client meetings, advising on patent-related matters, and providing legal guidance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support clients' technical and business needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligible to register.
  • Must be admitted to a state bar and in good standing or eligible for bar admission.
  • Strong understanding of patent law and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing patent portfolios and client interactions.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field (Advanced degree preferred but not required).

Certifications:

  • USPTO registration or eligibility.
  • State Bar Admission.

Skills:

  • Experience with 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, wireless communications, and related fields.
  • Strong technical background in image processing, AI, and RF front-end technologies.
  • Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
