Associate Attorney needed for Austin office

A law firm in Austin is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in capital markets and/or public company representation. This role requires Bar admission and a strong understanding of capital markets and public company legal matters.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in capital markets transactions, including public offerings and private placements.
• Advise public companies on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and securities laws.
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including registration statements, prospectuses, and corporate filings.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on capital markets and public company issues.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction structuring.
• Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Stay informed about developments in securities law and capital markets regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in capital markets and/or public company representation.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents.

Education and Certifications:
