A law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with outstanding academic credentials and solid law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Hatch Waxman litigation, superior writing and communication skills, and a preference for those with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields. This role involves drafting legal briefs, managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and contributing to the formulation and execution of litigation strategies.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Oversee and participate in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies, focusing on Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and provide thorough analysis to support case preparation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present cases.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring adherence to court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and regular updates to clients on case progress and strategy.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Proven experience in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
  • High level of academic achievement and substantial law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing complex litigation and developing case strategies.
