Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is currently seeking a seasoned Insurance Defense Attorney with a strong background in bodily injury defense, employment, and other insurance defense matters. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work and a chance to contribute significantly to a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling civil cases through trial and possess a deep understanding of litigation processes, including depositions, oral arguments, and settlement negotiations.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil defense cases, specifically focusing on bodily injury, employment, and insurance defense matters.
• Handle cases from inception through trial, including conducting depositions and hearings.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
• Negotiate settlements and manage all aspects of case preparation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and reports on case progress.
• Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as necessary.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure the effective management of cases.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Nevada.
• At least 5 years of experience in insurance defense, including bodily injury and employment-related claims.
• Strong experience in trial preparation, depositions, and hearings.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and client management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Nevada State Bar License (Required).

Skills:

• Proficiency in handling civil litigation cases through all stages, from pre-trial to trial.
• Expertise in legal research, including using tools such as Westlaw.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
