A law firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Music Industry Attorney to join its team. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, this position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that specializes in music law. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in negotiating and drafting music industry agreements, managing copyright and trademark issues, and providing strategic legal counsel to clients in the entertainment and music sectors.

Duties:

• Negotiate and draft a variety of music industry agreements, including recording, publishing, management, and distribution contracts.
• Advise clients on copyright and trademark issues within the music industry, ensuring the protection of intellectual property.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring clients receive timely and strategic legal counsel.
• Conduct consultations with new clients to assess legal needs and offer solutions.
• Perform legal research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, copyright law, and intellectual property matters.
• Provide guidance and representation to clients in dispute resolution and legal matters related to the music business.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver comprehensive legal services tailored to the entertainment industry.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a licensed attorney, with a focus on music law and entertainment.
• Strong experience in negotiating and drafting music industry agreements.
• Expertise in handling copyright and trademark issues specific to the music industry.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
