Duties

  • Manage and represent clients in mortgage foreclosure and collections cases
  • Conduct and oversee discovery practices, including depositions and document preparation
  • Resolve complex legal issues in foreclosure, litigation, and collections law
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with clients, colleagues, and industry contacts
  • Provide sound legal advice, showcasing strong judgment and client-focused service
  • Navigate the South Carolina state legal system to effectively advocate for clients

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mortgage foreclosure and collections law
  • State Knowledge: Familiarity with South Carolina legal processes and requirements
  • Client Relations: Strong reputation for developing client relationships and industry partnerships
  • Professional Skills: Expertise in discovery, conflict resolution, and confident judgment in case decisions

Education

  • Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
