Associate Attorney needed for Denver office

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, specifically focusing on insurance-related disputes. The ideal candidate will have experience handling first- and third-party claims, defending and investigating coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability lawsuits, and bad faith claims. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain significant litigation experience, from pre-litigation through trial and appeal, with responsibilities that include managing cases independently.

Location:

• Denver, CO

Duties:

• Investigate and defend first- and third-party claims.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft dispositive motions and attend hearings in state and federal courts.
• Perform legal research and analysis.
• Provide clients with pre-litigation analysis and recommendations.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including trial preparation and post-trial work.
• Prepare coverage opinions and participate in examinations under oath (preferred).

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of solid experience in commercial litigation, preferably with an emphasis on insurance-related disputes (coverage, personal injury, premises liability, and bad faith claims).
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong research and writing skills, with an ability to think independently.
• Comfortable using technology in legal practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Education:

• Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
