Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a midlevel Associate Attorney with expertise in pharmacy law and FDA regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel on pharmaceutical compliance, drug development, pharmacy operations, and interactions with the FDA and other regulatory agencies.

Duties

  • Advise clients on FDA regulatory compliance, including labeling, advertising, and promotional requirements.
  • Provide counsel on federal and state laws governing pharmacy operations, drug development, and distribution.
  • Guide clients through FDA approval processes, including new drug applications and compliance audits.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations on regulatory issues.
  • Represent clients in compliance and enforcement matters with the FDA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in FDA regulatory and pharmacy law, ideally in a law firm setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy operations, drug compounding, and state licensing requirements.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in providing strategic legal advice on pharmaceutical regulatory matters.
