Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal support for corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
• Draft and negotiate corporate documents such as contracts, agreements, and business formation documents
• Offer legal counsel to clients on a wide range of business law matters
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality legal work
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda and opinions
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients, handling transactional matters independently
• Assist in business development and maintain client relationships

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of general corporate and transactional law experience
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Strong work ethic and commitment to high professional standards
• Maine Bar membership (required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Maine Bar membership (required)
