A law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Finance Associate Attorney for their Dallas, TX office. The successful candidate will have substantial experience executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements. Experience in asset-based lending is a plus. The role demands strong academic credentials and significant law firm experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating loan agreements, credit facilities, and related documentation.
  • Advise clients on structuring and executing credit arrangements, including asset-based lending, revolving credit facilities, and term loans.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence to assess risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and internal teams to facilitate smooth transaction execution.
  • Review and analyze transaction documents, identify key issues, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market practices affecting finance transactions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and contribute to the firm's training and development programs.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in finance law, including significant experience in executing complex finance transactions and credit arrangements.
  • Experience in asset-based lending is a plus.
  • Strong academic credentials and experience at a prominent law firm are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal advice.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the State Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of finance transactions, including loan agreements, credit facilities, and asset-based lending.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
