A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join its growing Insurance Defense practice in Marietta, Georgia. Duties

  • Manage and litigate a variety of civil litigation and insurance defense matters

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents

  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy documents

  • Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel

  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

  • Ensure case files are handled in compliance with court and client deadlines

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff throughout the litigation process

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense

  • Ability to manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution

  • Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills

  • Experience with legal drafting and discovery procedures

  • Willingness to work in-office and participate in firm-wide initiatives

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar (required)
