Job Overview A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join its growing Insurance Defense practice in Marietta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse civil caseload and supportive leadership. Duties
Manage and litigate a variety of civil litigation and insurance defense matters
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy documents
Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
Ensure case files are handled in compliance with court and client deadlines
Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff throughout the litigation process
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense
Ability to manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution
Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills
Experience with legal drafting and discovery procedures
Willingness to work in-office and participate in firm-wide initiatives
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar (required)
Skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in legal research and case analysis
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
Team-oriented approach with a client-service mindset
