Duties:

  • Handle multi-party litigation related to construction defect disputes.
  • Conduct discovery, including depositions, document reviews, and drafting substantive dispositive motions.
  • Represent clients in arbitration, court hearings, and potential trials.
  • Address insurance risk transfer issues related to property damage claims.
  • Manage case files and collaborate with legal teams to ensure timely progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other involved parties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in litigation, particularly within the construction sector.
  • Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
  • Significant experience with depositions, hearings, and substantive motion practice.
  • Proven courtroom or arbitration experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Board Certification in Construction Law (preferred).
