Location:

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel in the areas of corporate, business, IP, estate planning, employment, and commercial real estate law.
  • Handle transactions related to entity formation, contract negotiation, intellectual property strategy, and real estate transactions.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously in a high-tech, fast-paced remote setting.
  • Collaborate with the team and clients to drive successful outcomes in complex legal matters.
  • Track progress against personal and professional goals using the firm’s proprietary visual dashboards.
  • Engage in business development activities to build and grow client relationships.
  • Participate in professional development initiatives and mentorship programs provided by the firm.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical legal practices.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (required).
  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar (required).
  • At least three years of practice experience in corporate, business, IP, estate planning, employment, and/or commercial real estate law.
  • Proven success in negotiating and handling complex transactions.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, high-tech, fast-paced law office environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High EQ and a growth mindset with the ability to learn and develop professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar (required).
