Duties:

• Manage a criminal defense caseload, providing proactive and responsive client care
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including pre-trial hearings and trials
• Conduct thorough legal research, prepare and draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Develop and execute case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel to secure optimal resolutions
• Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case developments and legal strategies
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and ethical guidelines

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
• Preferred experience in Texas criminal law, including courtroom litigation
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
