Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its team. Duties:

  • Represent national financial institutions in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and transactional restructuring.
  • Provide legal counsel on restructuring strategies, distressed asset acquisitions, and related transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate restructuring and bankruptcy-related documents.
  • Participate in bankruptcy litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and clients to devise legal strategies.
  • Stay up to date with developments in bankruptcy law and related financial regulations.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and maintaining effective communication throughout cases.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring law, with an emphasis on Chapter 11 cases.
  • Experience with bankruptcy litigation, including handling motions, discovery, and court appearances.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Active admission to the State Bar of Georgia or Tennessee.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia or Tennessee.
