The successful candidate will have 1-7 years of experience in first-party property law and will benefit from a development-focused environment. Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

  • Manage first-party property cases from inception through trial, including all aspects of litigation.
  • Perform in-depth legal research and analysis to inform case strategies and decisions.
  • Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court, handling depositions, motions, and trial presentations.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies, negotiate settlements, and handle litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with the litigation team to support case preparation and overall case management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and managing client expectations.
  • Stay current on developments in first-party property law and litigation practices.

Requirements:

  • 1-7 years of experience in first-party property law.
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and navigate all stages of litigation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and research abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage cases and develop legal strategies.
