The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent legal analysis, research, and litigation skills. Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal analysis and file review of workers’ compensation claims.

  • Perform extensive legal research and draft various legal documents, including client correspondence, discovery requests, legal briefs, and appeals.

  • Represent clients at depositions and hearings regularly.

  • Manage trial preparation and attendance, ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are in order.

  • Oversee expert witness retention and evaluation, ensuring effective presentation during trials.

  • Meet the annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in workers’ compensation law (experience in other practice areas is a plus).

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Admission to practice law in South Carolina (additional states are a plus but not required).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent research and writing abilities, with clear and concise oral communication.

  • Capable of managing workload independently while working effectively in a team setting.

  • Prompt and professional response to emails and phone inquiries.

  • Outstanding client service skills and professional demeanor in all interactions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:
