This role involves handling litigation matters related to loan enforcement, foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcies, and civil and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in state and federal court litigation

  • Handle enforcement of loan documents, foreclosures, evictions, and collections

  • Manage bankruptcy proceedings and landlord/tenant matters

  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel on financial litigation matters

  • Engage in oral advocacy, including court hearings and depositions

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within the litigation team

Requirements

  • Admission to practice law in the State of Minnesota

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage a large, fast-paced workload

  • Capacity to work independently and under supervision

  • Prior experience working with financial institutions in enforcement and litigation matters preferred

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and good-standing membership with the Minnesota Bar
