Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Mid/Senior Private Equity Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate and transactional law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and venture capital matters.

Duties:

  • Manage and execute various components of complex transactions independently, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, and equity compensation.
  • Conduct due diligence, draft and negotiate transactional documents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external parties, including clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a law firm setting, focusing on corporate and transactional matters.
  • Proven experience handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and venture capital deals.
  • Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility to promptly obtain admission).
