Location:

Duties:

  • Manage complex first-party property defense matters for insurance carriers.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding defense strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal teams to develop defense strategies.
  • Handle case management from intake through resolution.
  • Maintain high levels of client communication and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in litigation, specifically in insurance defense and first-party property matters.
  • Proven track record in managing complex litigation cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
  • Florida Bar license required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar.
