Duties:

• Represent public and private employers in disputes involving labor, employment, and educational regulations, including disciplinary actions, terminations, and discrimination claims.
• Conduct internal investigations related to employment issues, ensuring compliance with both state and federal laws.
• Draft employment-related contracts, including agreements related to separations, severances, and terminations.
• Provide counsel on the application of various labor and employment laws to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop holistic solutions for clients' needs.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 3-8 years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation and advisory roles.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple practice areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on precision and clarity.
• Excellent legal research and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to become admitted).
