Duties

• Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases.
• Draft, review, and negotiate public contracting and construction procurement contracts.
• Offer litigation support for disputes involving operational and facilities-related matters.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on various legal issues affecting educational institutions.
• Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings as necessary.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and stakeholders to resolve complex legal issues.
• Advise clients on compliance with state and federal regulations relevant to educational facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practice experience in a relevant field.
• Membership in the State Bar of California.
• Proven expertise in handling legal issues related to real estate, public contracting, and construction.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
