Litigation and Transactional Law Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Northeast Ohio is seeking a motivated and skilled associate attorney to join its business department. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience in both litigation and transactional law, with a preference for those experienced in both areas. This position requires a license to practice law in the state of Ohio.

Location:

• Cleveland, OH

Duties:

• Manage and handle litigation and transactional legal matters
• Provide legal counsel to clients, ensuring excellent client service
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions
• Prepare and conduct legal research and analysis
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues
• Maintain case files and keep clients updated on progress
• Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s business department

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio
• 3 to 8 years of experience in litigation and/or transactional law
• Exposure to both litigation and transactional matters is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Motivated and self-starting individual with attention to detail
• Ability to handle diverse and complex legal matters independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• License to practice law in the State of Ohio
