Duties

• Oversee all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

• Handle legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and mediations.

• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on insurance defense and construction-related matters.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop effective case strategies.

• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction or insurance defense.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment.

• Strong research and writing abilities.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience handling court proceedings and depositions preferred.

• Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
