Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases and other civil litigation matters.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation from pre-trial through trial, including client interviews, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Negotiate settlements and effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
  • Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Participate in firm-wide meetings and contribute to team-based strategies for case management.
  • Assist in business development efforts to expand the firm's client base.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong persuasive writing skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proven ability to organize and present cases effectively.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation technology.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A commitment to client service and a passion for trial work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Texas Bar Admission (or ability to be admitted).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
