Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A well-established law firm is seeking a Connecticut-barred litigation attorney to join its legal team. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including case initiation, discovery, and trial.

• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.

• Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations.

• Draft discovery requests, responses, motions, court orders, and legal memoranda.

• Review discovery responses, depositions, and prepare case summaries and reports.

• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.

• Provide legal analysis, status updates, and advice to clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in civil litigation.

• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Lexis software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar License in Connecticut.
