Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions within an Am Law firm setting.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on corporate mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents.
• Conducted due diligence reviews and analyses of mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Advise clients on corporate governance matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to effectively manage client relationships and transactions.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience in an Am Law firm.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Experience working in an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York Bar.
