A law firm seeks a talented Junior Real Estate Associate for its growing Philadelphia office. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual with 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures, and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage significant projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate finance matters.
  • Assist in the structuring of joint ventures and real estate development projects.
  • Draft and negotiate real estate agreements and contracts.
  • Collaborate with clients and other attorneys on complex real estate matters.
  • Take on significant responsibility for projects and transactions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Provide proactive support in all stages of commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Experience in acquisitions, dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures, and development.
  • Ability to manage projects and transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Prior experience in a large firm environment is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar (Pennsylvania preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong academic credentials and legal research skills.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and client management experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented and proactive in supporting client needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with attention to detail.
