Job Overview:

A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Securities Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience representing clients, including broker/dealers, life insurance carriers, financial institutions, and investment advisory firms, in securities and shareholder litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in securities and shareholder litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Handle FINRA customer arbitration claims involving suitability allegations, unauthorized trading, and other sales practice violations.
  • Manage FINRA intra-industry business disputes and employment-related disputes, including wrongful termination, defamation, Form U4/U5 expungement demands, and whistleblower retaliation claims.
  • Assist clients with customer arbitrations and civil litigation involving life insurance policy disputes.
  • Provide legal analysis and advice on complex securities litigation matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and attention to detail throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in securities litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex litigation matters with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record in handling FINRA-related disputes and securities litigation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills with a focus on securities and shareholder cases.
  • Expertise in handling FINRA-related disputes, including customer arbitration and intra-industry business disputes.
  • Strong research and drafting abilities.
