Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents pertinent to clients' cases.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings, advising them on the best course of action post-hearing.
• Conduct court appearances, trials, draft motions, and interview witnesses.
• Perform in-depth legal research to analyze case precedents and predict probable outcomes.
• Manage an independent caseload, ensuring each case receives thorough attention.
• Gather evidence to strengthen clients' defense or challenge prosecution arguments.
• Prepare clients for depositions and collaborate with experts and witnesses to support case strategy.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of criminal defense experience.
• Proven expertise in handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in California is required.
