Duties

• Provide legal counsel and support on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts and documents related to real estate matters.
• Conduct detailed legal research to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist clients in understanding their rights and obligations under real estate laws.
• Stay up to date on changes in laws affecting real estate transactions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York State.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law or a related field (preferred).
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education

• Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school (Required).

Certifications

• Active New York State Bar License (Required).
