The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate law, particularly in private offerings, general venture capital, and tech company corporate transactions. The candidate should demonstrate a keen interest and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses, possess excellent academic credentials and have superior communication skills.

Job Duties:

  • Advise clients on legal issues related to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
  • Handle corporate transactions, including private offerings and venture capital investments.
  • Conduct due diligence for tech companies and blockchain-related businesses.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Provide regulatory compliance guidance concerning securities laws and cryptocurrency regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and during legal proceedings as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in blockchain technology and related legal fields.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
  • Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's blockchain and crypto practice.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of corporate law experience in a major law firm.
  • Experience in private offerings, venture capital, and tech company corporate transactions.
  • Keen interest and passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
  • Membership to the State Bar of Texas.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic record.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Texas.
