Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions within an Am Law firm environment. They must demonstrate exceptional writing and analytical skills and a strong understanding of corporate law.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including agreements, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and transaction negotiations.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients on corporate matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex transactions and projects.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience in an Am Law firm.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in an Am Law 100 law firm.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law principles and practices.
  • Ability to draft and review complex transactional documents.
