Senior Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate Attorney for their Tysons Corner, VA office.

Job Overview:

The Senior Corporate Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and support in mergers and acquisitions. They will lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents, manage the deal process and client relationships, supervise junior associates, and handle day-to-day demands on various mergers and acquisitions matters.

Duties:

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents for mergers and acquisitions.
• Manage the deal process and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates.
• Handle day-to-day demands related to mergers and acquisitions matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High degree of maturity and business sense.
• Ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships.
• Experience in a large regional, national, or international law firm preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
