Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including filing complaints and motions.
• Draft meet-and-confer letters related to discovery disputes.
• Prepare clients for depositions, hearings, and other court-related activities.
• Take and defend depositions throughout the litigation process.
• Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions.
• Attend court hearings and mediations as required.
• Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases.
• Direct and support investigations related to assigned litigation matters.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong background in personal injury litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership with the California State Bar.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Experience in workers' compensation law is a plus.
• Excellent written discovery and deposition skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of California.
