The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on professional liability, general liability, and directors' & officers' insurance policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about insurance law and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance and reinsurance disputes, including litigation and coverage analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
• Provide strategic advice on complex insurance coverage issues
• Conduct legal research and analysis of insurance-related laws and regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client communications
• Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation
• Proven track record of managing complex cases with minimal supervision
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to think innovatively and deliver client-focused solutions
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in Delaware or ability to waive into the Delaware Bar
